Going to the country of Georgia - Apostle Daryl Thies

In May of this year Apostle Daryl Thies will return to the country of Georgia where he who affirm and look in on the 16 churches he started and established throughout the 90’s. During these years in Southern Russia and Soviet Georgia thousands of lives have been touched with God's Glory. 20,000 born again and 16 churches started with "cells". Additionally Daryl distributed 17,000 Georgian New Testament and Psalms and 16,500 Christian books have been translated into the Georgian language and distributed.

Apostle Daryl Thies will plan to leave for the country of Georgia sometime mid May. His plans are to reaffirm the churches he has set up as well as visit with all of the church leaders for a time of training and ministry. If you would like to help underwrite or support this mission trip please contact Impact Ministries International at our regional office in Gastonia, North Carolina. You may call 877-397-5263 and ask to speak with Brother Andrew.

Currently, IMI is providing the finances to cover the airfare round trip. We really need around $3000 to make this trip a success. We are half way there and trust that the Lord will provide the rest. If you feel moved in your heart to financially support this mission project IMI will see to it the LHI ministries / Daryl Thies receives every penny of your donation. At the end of this message we will tell your where to send your donation. Funds need to be received no later than May 5th for this trip.

Here is a little background on LHI and Daryl Theis. Latter House International began in a jail cell as Daryl Thies, Vietnam vet and addicted to drugs, turned to Jesus Christ with a Godly sorrow. In one glorious sweep down and then back up his body, Daryl was saved, delivered, and filled with the Holy Ghost.

After attending Bible School, Daryl and family pioneered 5 churches in MI and VT. On a trip to Moscow and Leningrad in '87 a vision for the former Soviet Union was planted deep in their hearts and in '93 the call was "TO GO."

Daryl and his wife Sally have been faithful to that call. They have comeback to the states a few years ago and methodically have relocated their ministry offices in Atlanta, Georgia were we find the highest concentration of Georgian immigrants in the United States. At present they have established multiple home cell groups within their region among this ethnic people. To take a closer look at LHI you can go to their website located at: http://www.latterhouseinternational.com/default.htm

Daryl truly has wrought an apostolic work in the country of Georgia. He must go again! How can he go except he be sent. Will you partner with IMI and help me send Apostle Daryl Thies back to this precious native people. Make your donation in any amount today and send it to Impact Ministries International. you can mail your donation to 1437 E Franklin Blvd. Suite 108, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054. Our Missions office will see that LHI/Daryl Thies receives your donation.

Taking Back Control of the Church - Sr. Chaplain Andrew DeDominicis

Since the early nineteen forties there has been a major push to have all churches and their integrated auxiliaries file for and receive a letter of determination by IRS declaring approval of their tax exempt activities.

For more than 60 years the church has been coaxed, advised and admonished by well meaning Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants and Non-profit specialist providing corporation services to religious groups. For the most part primarily, these legal professionals have stipulated it as necessary and proper protocol for all non-profit organizations to file form 1023 for letter of determination by IRS of their tax exempt status. This particular filing is what takes a church or ministry into the 501(c)(3) jurisdiction.

However, in all of this time there have been a select few who have made a concerted effort to educate ministers and separate the church from being swallowed up by an ever-changing law system created by IRS. Such laws and codes were meant to govern and control all financial and administrative activities of the church while at the same time placing a gag order in every pulpit in America for the congregations having received such 501 (c)(3) status. The trade off for the church or ministry receiving such recognition from IRS is overwhelmingly stacked against the church.

Let me tell you the one and only benefit you receive from IRS for taking your church or ministry into a 501 (c)(3) status. This benefit is only indirectly related to the church or ministry. Here it is in a nut shell. It all is tied to those who donate to your ministry.

Taking Back the Church - IRS Secret.

If IRS ever audits an individual tax payer who has donated to your ministry and they see that the taxpayer claimed a deduction, IRS reserves the right to challenge such gifts. If IRS sees that the donation was sent to a 501 (c)(3) organization they will automatically not challenge the giving of that donation. However, If the same taxpayer has sent a donation to an organization that has not received 501(c)(3) status and IRS audits that portion of their giving receipts, IRS reserves the right to disallow the tax deduction. Thus, they put the burden on the taxpayer to prove that your ministries activities are of an exempt nature. Their not being able to do this will cause them to loose their deduction on that portion of their giving.

When a church decides that it wants to provide this degree of certainty to its donors by electing to receive 501 (c)(3) status, this one solitary benefit causes the church to be put in bondage to all of the IRS protocols that they use to govern non-profit organizations. There are literally hundreds of rules and regulations that now will govern the operating affairs of this ministry or church, just for wanting to provide a certainty to a donor that their deducting will not be challenged by IRS.

That’s the IRS Secret. If we the church voluntarily file, comply and accept 501(c)(3) status, then IRS gets to regulate all the business affairs of the church.

Give As Unto the Lord!

One clear option is for every church leader to teach their people to Give as unto the Lord expecting Him to bring blessing back into our life. Stop looking for the deduction from IRS. Let us earnestly look to the Lord to provide our blessing rather than to the government to provide a benefit. Did you know that statistically over 70% of the American people filing an annual return do so on a standard 1040 short form and automatically have a built in deduction for the taxpayer anyway. It just does not make sense to have a tax deduction as our motivation for giving.

I tell you the truth and lie not, this is the nexus that has led the church into bondage having to serve two masters. It is also the very reason why the church has to keep giving records on all of their people. You will not find anywhere in Holy Bible where the church is told to keep track of a persons giving.

What Other Option Does The Church Have - Some Legal Facts.

The church is tax exempt by the law of the land and by statutory law. Title 26 USC 6033 says that all churches their integrated auxiliaries, association of churches and conventions are tax exempt and able to receive tax deductible contributions. That’s with out filing for 501(c)(3) status. IRS Code 508 provides an exact rendering of statute 6033 here mentioned.

The church has for the past one hundred and forty years had available to it a very specialized legal formation known as Corporation Sole. Corporation Sole is an ecclesiastical structure that allows for a church to be recognized by the state and United States while remaining an unincorporated entity. In other words, Corporation Sole is not created by the state, but is recognized by the state as a valid corporation.

What Other Option Does The Church Have - Corporation Sole

Corporation sole set up as a church provides a number of benefits you would not be able to have as a 501(c )(3) organization.

Perpetual. No maintenance required to keep Corporation Sole in good standing.
No Annual Fees. Now or in the future.
No Annual Reports. Now or in the Future. The State of Nevada is used as the "Home" state and because there are so many religious Corporation Soles in Nevada, it is very unlikely that any negative changes will be made in this state.
No Operating Rules. Corporation Sole creates its own rules of operations rather than following state statutory code or state guidelines.
Authority. Descends on Corporation Sole. There are no Board of Directors, Stockholders or Members, unless otherwise provided by the Articles of Corporation Sole.
Full Government Recognition. This recognition is without inherent disadvantages of other corporations and entities. Corporation Sole is incorporated by law, in order to give it legal capacities and advantages that other corporations are not allowed (i.e. operational rule and statutory regulations). The government cannot dictate how Corporation Sole is to operate, so it acts with limited government interference.
Non-Profit Status. Corporate Sole declares, and is recognized by the IRS, as a status 508. (It is not a 501(c)(3) which must be applied for and granted by the IRS.)
Simplified, Self-Structured Management. Adversarial attorneys have no substantive means to entrap or to enforce laws that would allow courts to pierce the corporate veil and are severely limited to the only valid or wanton acts committed Self Ruled. Statutory Law does not mandate or require an "Arm’s Length" test for management of Corporation Sole (unlike Trusts which the state and federal laws require and adhere to arm’s length standards as in the Grantor/Settlor relationship to the Trust). It is like a "Kingship," designed to be self-ruled by the creator. It has the authority to "declare" or the "right to rule" as does a king.
Provides for Needs . Corporation Sole can be responsible to provide for all your needs (i.e. shelter, food, transportation, clothing, medical, etc.) if you elect to live under a vow of poverty.  This occurs by first conveying all that you own and all future earnings to Corporation Sole. This should be carefully and prayerfully considered before making a choice.  It is not for everybody.
Gifts and Donations. Corporation Sole may receive tax-deductible gifts and contributions under section 170 (c) (2). (You may want to see a tax professional for the best way to accomplish this because of the complexities of the tax code). It is exclusively responsible for how its funds are disbursed. It can gift anything to anyone, in any amount, for any purpose, or, for no purpose.
Records. Corporation Sole is required to maintain meticulous records of dealings. However, it is charged with never divulging those records.
Purpose. Corporation Sole is typically organized for religious, charitable, educational, scientific, cultural, literary, benevolent, social, fraternal, agricultural, recreational purposes, or for prevention of cruelty to children or animals. However, there are other legitimate purposes such as: fire protection, professional, industrial, employee organization, cooperative, service organizations, emergency medical and rescue, or search and rescue. A portion of its funds has to be used for a stated purpose. The balance can be used for operations, marketing, administration, etc. (just like every other charity).
Titles. As incorporator, you may be the Trustee-in-Trust, Patriarch, President, Bishop, Chief Priest, Minister, Pastor, Administrator, Overseer, Chaplain, Apostle, Evangelist etc.

IMI Home Groups and Fellowships - National Campaign

Starting in the month of May, Impact Ministries International will be launching an international advertising campaign to welcome Christians from all over the United States to learn about and become part of our organization.

We will primarily be concentrating our efforts in two distinctive ways. First, we want to setup and establish many home cell groups. With this in mind, IMI has already developed teaching tapes for our cell group leaders from which they can study and prepare for short Bible studies. We also are in the process of updating our website to have a members only access where our leaders can have teaching sessions in a downloadable MP3 format. Doing this will enable our ministry to be completely mobile and span the globe. Secondly, IMI is also interested in working with groups of believers who desire to become a church body with an Apostolic spiritual covering. IMI will be able to provide ministry support and leadership training for those desiring to become an IMI Fellowship.

Anyone interested in either becoming a home cell group or IMI Fellowship can email us for more information at imi-fellowships@impactministries-int.org

Impact Ministries International was founded and established back in January 2002 by Sr. Chaplain Andrew DeDominicis. God has given us a plan to be a wise master builder in the body of Christ. Our fervent desire is to equip the saints to respond to the work of the ministry that they truly would become ministers of reconciliation, as they bring the world to Jesus.

Hello McFly! - Sr. Chaplain Dale Carter

I wrote this article back in 1998 when I was serving on the mission field in Wiesbaden, Germany. So much has happened and changed in my life since then. It is so neat to look back at things you’ve said or written in the past. I think you will enjoy this…

In 1986 one of the most popular movies released was entitled, "Back to the Future" staring Michael J. Fox. Michael played a character named Marty McFly that traveled back in the past and changed his present time situation using a time machine built by an eccentric professor, Dr. Brown. During Marty’s travels he encounters a bully named Biff that was always badgering his teenage father. Because of Marty’s actions in the past, his future and destiny in life was changed.

I must stay focussed on the thought that God has laid on my heart to share. Once I typed the opening paragraph I saw so many analogies I could expound on. But I want to share something so much deeper. It is burning off my fingers as I type. Open our spiritual ears Lord!

I have been on a long fast recently, seeking the face of God. When I was praying before bed the other night, I began to thank God for the closeness I was feeling with Him. Suddenly out of nowhere, the Spirit of the Lord placed the voice of this bully saying, "Hello, McFly," You must understand that when Biff was tormenting one of the McFly’s, he would hit them on the head when he felt something should be obvious to them and say, "Hello, McFly!" Otherwise, Hello, Dale!" Let me explain.

I am part of a generation of preachers that for the most part have only heard about the great miracles and move of God. I’m only 35 years old and it seems sometimes that the older generations have just told us stories and not shown us the way. I was called to preach at the age of 15 while my dad was the pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God in Cabot, Arkansas. My dad was very encouraging to me when I announced that I had been "called." However, as years past I found most of the "older" ministers saying things like, "Well we’ll see," when in my opinion they should have taught me how to find God and pour themselves into me. It seems that they had found something and did not want to share it. They built a foundation, however, they did not allow many young preachers to build on it. We had to go to an open field and begin to dig and build from the beginning. Now in ways I guess that is good. But just consider how much farther we would be if they had shared how they had become so successful.

The last 3 to 5 years I have become so hungry for the power of God. I’ve become so sick of church meetings. I want so bad to see the fire of God fall. That led me to this long fast that I’m currently on. I have been praying to God to give me a revival or just take me home. I cannot continue without a manifestation of His power. Souls. Souls. Souls. That is what it must be about.

Now this is what God is speaking to the church. "Hello, Church!" "Wake up!" You know what you need to do to see My power fall. Go after me with all that is within you. ALL OF YOU! It is so obvious. Just pray, fast, worship, study, and do his Word. Intensely though.

We must dig in like never before. We say we want a move of God but we are so slack. Preachers don’t pray, fast, or study the Word. Some would rather golf or fish then attend a church service. Then we say we want a move of God or even have the audacity to proclaim that God is moving in our lives. We have become as the world, seeking our own selfish desires. Seeking pleasure over the power of God. Job security over the seriousness of the call of God. Our own established standard of living over the standard of God’s call. (I’m so guilty)

We have become a nation of prostitute preachers. Some will not even go to preach a revival or meeting without a minimum budget met or a preset honorarium. Oh, of course we even justify that by saying, "Well, you know they have expenses and a family to support." Now I realize that the Bible states in Matthew 10:10b: for the workman is worthy of his meat. (KJV). If we minister under the anointing of God I just believe that God will meet our "budget." That is one thing that an old timer did teach me. (I’m so guilty)
What has the ministry become during my generation? Except for a few, we are a generation that preaches on the power of God, but has no evidence of it. The Bible states this in 2 Tim 3:5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (KJV) If we do not have the power that Jesus said we would have, we must be somehow denying it. (I’m so guilty)

There is a remnant priesthood that is finding the power of God! Some of them are the ones that we are pointing fingers at and saying, "That’s not of God!" We have had God denominationalized so long that we have Him figured out. We end up saying the same things to these ministers and churches that are experiencing God’s power and glory that was said to our Pentecostal Forefathers! (I’m so guilty)
We must understand this basic principle. He that wins the battle receives glory. For example, soldiers returning from Desert Storm were praised as heroes. However, our battle belongs to the Lord. We must position ourselves to allow God to fight for us. We have been trying to fight it ourselves for so long and hopelessly losing it. If we will be honest with ourselves, we fought ourselves because we want the glory. At least credit for an idea, thought, or program. He will not share the glory or credit with anyone. We are so guilty of praising ministers or churches for their seemingly great success or innovative programs. This has helped develop a generation of ministers that are seeking approval, honor, and promotion from men or denominational leaders rather than God. Thus develops a type of prostitute ministry. Again, the battle belongs to the Lord. (I’ve been so guilty)

God is calling us to get ready. To prepare ourselves through fasting, prayer, worship, and His Word. Therefore when He moves we will know Him. "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:27 (KJV)

I want to encourage you to join with me and repent of our slothful ways. Seek God. Go after him with everything, recklessly, and vigorously. We need the power and He is pouring it out. Let not our traditions and carnal minded ways blind us from a move of God in these last days.

Please let me assure you that I am no one without Christ. Just yesterday God told me to open my Bible to 2 Cor. 13:5. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (KJV)

I had to repent for my sin, slothfulness, and pride. I’m constantly examining everything in me each day. I’m so hungry for God…

Remote Control - By Erin Carter

Just the other day I was thinking how we have a lot in common with the remote control. We are the remote and God is at the controls, (although sometimes we think we are.)

God turns on the power switch and our life begins. He hits the display button and puts all the color and tints in the right place, and one by one He begins to enter the channels that He wants us to take.

If we had it our way, (and sometimes we do), we would change the channel and plug in a few of our own to add some excitement to our lives. Then hopefully before it's too late, we realize what we've done and hit the erase button and stick it back on auto program.

When we get tired, He pushes the sleep button, so we can rest, (He gives us rest when we're weary). It's in these quiet times that God uses the mute button. He just wants us to listen to his voice and commune with Him. Don't talk, just listen. For some of us He may not get a word in if it wasn't for the mute button.

When our minds are cleared, He removes the blocks that were so divinely put there and begins to add more channels than the fanciest satellite dish. For when God holds the remote His control is out of this world! :)
